Continuing Education May 30/31 - Eva Cernik in Pittsburgh, PA June 13 - Aszmara at Re-Orient in Baltimore, MD June 21 - Tamalyn Dallal in Pittsburgh, PA June 28 - Aegela in Akron, OH July 12-18 - Artemis' Turkish Intensive in Silver Springs, MD Background Nesheli has studied bellydance with local and international instructors for over a decade. She continues to travel to attend festivals, workshops and take private lessons. Recent events include Folktours, Pennsic, Rakkasah and Herdeljezi. The many dancers that have moved and inspired her include Artemis Mourat, Elizabeth Strong, Aszmara, Morocco, and of course Carolena Nericcio. (Such a list is of course always incomplete and biassed; these are the dancers who have moved me to tears with their dancing, or whose presence I have felt repeatedly in my own dance.) |
